So with the addition of my China photos, I have to elaborate on that trip a little bit. I went just about a month ago with just a few hours notice (I'm a flight attendant for United Airlines, took the job to travel and take photos, and work with beautiful women lol). I went to Shanghai and I knew I wanted to shoot B&W and capture the rawness of the city. I've been to Japan, but that's a real modern eastern country, nothing too gritty there. I knew China would be because of the jacked up Government. So all these shots (with the exception of the self-portrait and the street with the cars) was in an alley simply named "the alley". It's like a farmers market as you can see from the fish and people buying stuff. It was the most backbone place I could find. I met some very very interesting people there. It's a crazy country though. I was eating dinner across the street from my hotel and while we where there an armored truck rolled up and 2 guys with AK-47s got out and escorted some guy into the back room of the place and ten minutes later just left like nothing was up. I would have like to have gotten a picture of them, but I wasn't going to chance it. One of my favorite trips so far. You don't have to spend much money out there either. Just look out when crossing the road, there is no such thing as pedestrian right-away.
